December Already?

 
Time flies when your having fun. The advent calendar in our window already has four gifts open. Tomorrow our Annual Holiday Open House begins. Our new sign is hanging on the front of the house. What a year it has been! Since our move to the new location in March, the year has just flown by. We are looking forward to seeing all of our regulars. This weekend will be filled with party food and wine (wine provided by River View Wine & Spirits), giftwrap, and retail therapy, so stop in and enjoy the start of the holiday magic!

Our hours for this weekend are:
Saturday Dec. 5th: 10a.m. to 7p.m.
Sunday Dec. 6th: 12p.m. to 6p.m.

Here comes the horseman

 

Halloween is right around the corner and the horseman is on his way. This horseman silhouette is just one of the many spooky pieces we have by artist Jan Blough. We also have beautiful Halloween cards and children's books. Of course there is also a wide selection of Meadowbrook Gourds to fill your home with the spirit of the season. The autumn temperatures always put us in the mood for hot tea. Just in time for the chill we have great new teas from Zhena's Gypsy Tea in flavors like Caramel Apple and Pumpkin Spice as well as many others. Don't let the cold get the best of you, stay warm. Boxes and boxes for new hats, scarves and gloves have been unpacked for you to see. Oh yes, and socks too.

October Third Friday!

It's that time again, and in my opinion, it's the best kind of Third Friday... Halloween Third Friday! This Friday, October 16th!

3rd Friday in September

 

It's that time again, 3rd Friday! The weather for Friday looks nice and dry. As usual we will be open late, around 9 p.m. sounds good. Refreshments will be served and you can also enjoy a 10% discount on your entire purchase of regularly priced goodies starting at 5 o'clock. New pretty things are coming in every day in anticipation of the holiday season so feel free to do some early browsing.

Great new tiles like the one above by Lisa Muller are hanging up in our wonderful new space. If you haven't been by for a visit yet please do so. For your convenience we have a parking lot behind the house you can use for free while visiting.

August 3rd Friday

 

Just a friendly reminder that this Friday is 3rd Friday in Tarrytown. Come on over and see us as we extend our Sidewalk Sale for another week. Summer hats and bags are on sale, too. Our special 3rd Friday discount will also be in effect: 10% off all regular priced items. We'll have drinks and snacks, so come hang out with us. It's a great night to check out Tarrytown. We will be open till 9 pm for your browsing pleasure.

If you are intrigued by the bracelet pictured above, you'll enjoy our new jewelery. The bracelet is from Quirk of Art by Beth Taylor. She does some amazing pieces incorporating silver and found objects. Bingo chips, typewriter keys and tin cans are just some of the components she uses to style many beautiful jewelry pieces. Come in and try on a conversation-starting necklace or pair of earrings.

Tonight we celebrate by having a sidewalk sale — but our sale table will be inside since the weather forecast is not too pretty. That way, you can enjoy the air conditioning with us. To spice things up a little, we also will have all summer hats and handbags priced at 20% off. And just for good measure we will have all Chelsey Henry bags 25% off. The sale will last all weekend, so you can come by on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday to check out the goods. See you soon!

July 3rd Friday!

This Friday, July 17th we will be having a special sale for 3rd Friday. The theme this month is “Sidewalk Sale.” Just to be on the safe side, because of our recent wet weather, we will have a table set up inside. Along with our discounted items, we will also offer a storewide discount of 10% off on all regularly-priced items. The sale will begin at 5 pm and continue until 9 pm.

Come in and check out the selection. If you haven't stopped in since we moved we would love to show you the new digs.

3rd Friday is a great time to visit Tarrytown. Most of the shops and restaurants in town take part in the festivities and stay open late.
